The surroundings of the town of Radovljica beckon for outdoor pursuits. Hilltops and mountains with panoramic views, clear rivers and vast forests offer a wealth of outdoor activities.
Set off on one of the marked trails, which after just a short climb lead to magnificent viewpoints, choose from popular theme trails, or follow one of the hiking trails up to mountain pastures and mountain peaks.
Radovljica is also an excellent place from where to set out on bike trips through the Gorenjska region, since Radovljica is the meeting point of roads and paths that lead towards Bled, Bohinj, Tržič, Škofja Loka and further afield. You can take quiet tracks to visit tourist towns and attractions in the surroundings or follow forest roads up to green mountain pastures.
In addition to hiking and cycling, from spring until autumn there are various water-based experiences on offer on the Sava river, as well as other outdoor activities such as swimming in natural pools and public swimming pools, minigolf and golf. Other activities that can be enjoyed throughout the year are fishing, horseriding, archery, and panoramic flights from the Lesce sports airfield.
The surrounding towns and villages, such as Bled, Bohinj, Žirovnica, as well as the entire Julian Alps – all of which are within easy reach – offer numerous additional outdoor and indoor activities for those staying in the area for an extended visit.

Set off on an adventure with a bow and arrow! The parkour archery course, in the Draga valley, is suitable for beginners and experienced archers, and has 30 model forest animals targets.
The saunas in the pension Török bed-and-breakfast in the village of Hraše are open to non-residents.
The olympic-size pool in Radovljica is open year-round. During summer it is open-air, whilst in winter it is covered.

Radol'ca's chocolatiers are already getting ready for the 10th Radovljica Chocolate Festival.
The biggest chocolate event and the most attractive culinary show in Slovenia.
The judges of this year's annual competition for the title of 'Best Chocolate' were impressed by the quality and variety of chocolates. As in the past few years, the judges were the owners of the famous Austrian Zotter chocolate manufacturer. This year, 14 chocolates from seven Slovenian chocolatiers entered the race to be awarded the title 'Best Chocolate' at the 10th Radovljica Chocolate Festival.
Get to know a town of chocolate. This guided experience includes visits to selected places connected with chocolate in the quaint town, as well as tasting of chocolates and other chocolate delights.
