Events in Radovljica and Its Surroundings

A variety of events take place in Radovljica and its surroundings throughout the year. Every spring traditional St. Gregory celebrations take place in Kropa and Kamna Gorica. In April lovers of chocolate flock to Radovljica for the town's biggest event – the Chocolate Festival.

The aroma of chocolate has hardly dissipated when tempting smells begin to waft from Taste Radol'ca culinary stands that offer street food during summer events in the old town centre of Radovljica and in the town park.

August's Radovljica Festival will soon mark its 40th anniversary, and at the end of the summer the Avsenik Festival and the National Folk Music weekend take place on alternate years in Begunje na Gorenjskem.

In autumn, outdoor events move inside. Concerts take place in the halls of the Radovljica Manor, while in November Taste Radol'ca's finest chefs put together menus featuring selected flavours and local ingredients for the Month of Local Cuisine

The year comes to a close in Radovljica with the festive decoration of the old town centre and December events, which in particular attract families to visit the town.
