The restaurants participating in the Month of Local Menus are united in the Taste Radol’ca union. It is a project that connects restaurateurs in the municipality of Radovljica throughout the year, with a particular emphasis on quality food and fresh ingredients. The quality is checked by food critics every three years, therefore we believe that the best of our restaurants are within the circle; some of the restaurants are also included in Slovenian Restaurant Week.
Participating restaurants:
Hiša Linhart, Radovljica
Gostišče Tulipan, Lesce
Gostišče Draga, Begunje na Gorenjskem
Restavracija Tabor, Podbrezje

Chefs from Taste Radol’ca restaurants will showcase their culinary skills at two special events in October:
Taste Radol’ca chefs will lead you into the Farmer’s Table culinary adventure, which was held for the first time last year. On 5th October the chefs will showcase their culinary know-how in the place where the basic flavours come from for their cuisine – on the farm. The Farmer’s Table isn’t just lunch on a farm but rather a unique four-hour experience in the countryside. The event follows the concept of from field to plate. The event is a nostalgic journey through the countryside, featuring gourmet food served in the authentic environment of an organic farm. The Farmer’s Table will take place on 5th October beginning at 12 noon.
Join us for the traditional opening dinner of the Month of Local Menus, which will take place this year on 25th October in the wonderful ambience of Restavracija Tabor in Podbrezje. At the opening dinner, seven masterchefs from Taste Radol’ca restaurants will showcase their knowledge and creativity. They will collaborate to create an exceptional atmosphere and top-quality dishes made using local ingredients. Prior to dinner, local suppliers will showcase their produce and products in the attractive garden in front of the restaurant.
As part of Culinary Autumn in Radol’ca, you are invited to take part in unique guided culinary adventures, which have been put together in collaboration with local companies.
Join us in October and experience gourmet tastes and unforgettable social events!
Farmers, beekeepers, fruit growers and other suppliers play an important role in local cuisine. Throughout the year they ensure supplies of healthy produce and products from the local environment. You can meet the suppliers and buy their products at the opening and closing Taste Radol’ca events, as well as at open days at some farms (Vegerila, Brinšek, Dolenc) during the month of October.

The Month of Local Menus comes to an end with a culinary-musical event. Together with the closing food market, the festive lights will be switched on in Linhart Square – the heart of Radovljica’s old town centre.
