Hop on and discover, summer tourist product

In past years, the Hop-On Hop-Off bus took guests from Bled and Radovljica on journeys of discovery of the area during July and August, this year it has been transformed to offer half-day trips and renamed 'Hop on and discover'.

Every day of the week during July and August guests can discover one destination on a guided tour. On Mondays the bus runs to the Dovžan gorge and Tržič, on Tuesdays to the Lipnica valley to see the village of Kropa and Kamna Gorica, while every Wednesday guests can listen to stories about Bled and marvel at the Alpine gem. Thursday's bus trip leads to a short tour of Brezje and the numerous attractions of Radovljica. On Friday it's time for the Podljubelj valley, including a mine and concentration camp, while on Saturday guided tours are available of picturesque Kamen Castle followed by a walk along the Lamberg Trail. Every Sunday, the tour leads you to Jesenice.

All excursions are free for holders of Julian Alps: Radovljica and Julian Alps: Bled guest cards. Guests who stay for a minimum of two nights in partner accommodation in the municipality of Radovljica, Jesenice or Tržič are entitled to a free Radovljica guest card. Guests who stay for a minimum of two nights in the municipality of Bled or Gorje are entitled to a free Bled guest card. Cards are available from accommodation providers.

Those who are not staying in one of the aforementioned areas may also join any of the bus excursions. The price of each guided half-day trip is €25 per person, children up to the age of 10 travel free. Tickets can be purchased on the bus in cash, at the Triglavška roža Tourist Information Centre in Bled, and at the Radovljica, Tržič, Jesenice and Begune Tourist Information Centres, as well as on our website.

Other than on Wednesday's excursion to Bled, the 'Hop on and discover' bus begins to pick up passengers in Bled in Velika Zaka (Camp Bled), then continues, stopping at all bus stops and large camps (River Camping Bled, Camp Šobec), to Radovljica. Details and departure times of each trip are stated separately for each excursion.
