The destination of Radol'ca is full of charming village centres featuring authentic Gorenjska architecture. At the crossroads of them all is quaint Linhart Square, which is the heart and soul of the town of Radovljica. Explore towns and villages with a wealth of history and unique ethnological heritage.

 

Here in the Radovljica countryside there are villages that have attained world-class achievements, and towns and villages that have a special place in the hearts of the population. The villages of Kropa and Kamna Gorica, which lie beneath the Jelovic plateau in the Lipnica valley, are known for their distinguished iron forging heritage.

Radovljica is the sweetest Slovenian town, also known as the town with the most sun in Gorenjska.

Begunje is the birthplace of Slovenian popular folk music and the inspiration for numerous songs by Slavko Avsenik.

On reaching Mošnje you are greeted by two equestrian centres on one side of the road, and on the other by Vila Podvin, which satisfies even the most demanding of gourmets.

The village of Brezje is best known for its Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, which attracts pilgrims from Slovenia and abroad.

Farmers, craft and antiques market!

Saturday mornings are a great time to visit Radovjlica's the old town centre. The Radol'ca market, which takes place on the first Saturday in the month in the square in front of St. Peter's church, is an additional reason to visit.
