Summer Programme and Publications

02.06.2023 14:35

The Radovljica Tourist Board has created summer publications for locals and visitors, and, together with our partners and event organisers, from June to September has also put together a varied programme of events and entertainment.

June is the start of outdoor summer events and entertainment, and a time when the town and its surroundings experience a dramatic increase in visitor numbers. As in previous years, the Radovljica Tourist Board has come up with a summer calendar of events, which will be distributed to homes in the Municipality of Radovljica and surrounding municipalities in mid-June, and will also be available at the Radovljica Tourist Information Centre.

For foreign visitors, a special summer publication is available, which features useful information in English and German. The publication includes links to hiking and cycling routes, a calendar of the biggest events, information about guided tours and the Radovljica: Julian Alps discount card, as well as practical information about what to do when it rains, how to get to Bled and how to travel more sustainably. This is the first time that such a collection of useful information has been produced in the form of a flyer or leaflet for visitors to the Radol'ca area .

As is previous years, guests who stay in the Radol'ca area for a minimum of three nights are entitled to a free Julian Alps: Radovljica discount card. Free guided tours of the Radol'ca area, as well as Tržič and Jesenice, will take place daily from 15th June to 15th September.

In order to acquaint those in the tourism industry with details of this summer's season, we invite everyone who works in tourism to attend a presentation on one of the following dates:

  • Wednesday 7th June at 11am, GOSTIŠČE TULIPAN, Lesce
  • Thursday 8th June at 6pm, GOSTILNA PR JOŽOVCU, Begunje na Gorenjskem
  • Tuesday 13th June at 1pm, GOSTILNA KUNSTELJ, Radovljica
