Visitors to Lectar Inn are charmed by its homely atmosphere and tradition. Enjoy traditional Slovenian dishes in the pleasant ambience of the restaurant or on the shady terrace.
If you like tradition, and particularly Slovenian tradition, then you will love Lectar Inn! You can enjoy soup served in a bread bowl, baked apples or a plate of cold cuts direct from the farm. Seasonal dishes include asparagus, dandelion, fresh porcini mushrooms, and in winter sauerkraut, sausages, black pudding, turnips and other traditional winter meat dishes. A selection of premium Slovenian wines are available to complement your meal.
Lovers of tradition will relish the rustic rooms. Larger groups are seated in the spacious, bright area at the rear of the restaurant with views of the Karavanke mountains, which can also be admired from the shady terrace. The authentic ambience is enhanced by its employees dressed in tradition Slovenian dress.
All guests at the restaurant can also visit the Lectar Honeybread Workshop and Museum, free of charge. The tradition of making Lectar hearts and other items from coloured honeybread is still very much alive here.
