Three of the country's most talented chefs will use Slovenian chocolate to cook up the opening dinner of this year's 8th Radovljica Chocolate Festival.
Every festival deserves a premiere!
This time chef Uroš Štefelin has invited chef Igor Jagodic from the restaurant Strelec in Ljubljana, and chef Jorg Zupan from the restaurant Atelje – also in Ljubljana. Together they will cook up the premiere opening dinner for this year's Radovljica Chocolate Festival. The three chefs will use 20chocolate - a Slovenian brand of chocolate – to create this unique dinner.
They will prepare dishes from the Gorenjska and Ljubljana region. Some will be subtly flavoured with chocolate while others will be unashamedly chocolately!
Price of the 6-course dinner: €59/per person
dinner + bed and breakfast accommodation + 5 tasting coupons for the Radovljica Chocolate Festival: €109/per person
During the course of the dinner you will find out what distinguishes good chocolate from bad, which kind of chocolate to use for various purposes, and how chocolate can be good for your health!
Climb aboard for a nostalgic train journey to Radovljica where you will find stalls laden with all kinds of chocolate and a packed entertainment programme.
Set off as a family on an adventure accompanied by a cute 'bee' who will explain where she lives, what her chores are, and where she goes to gather nectar. Visit the Museum of Apiculture and see her treasures, and, as a reward, savour the taste of sweet honeybreads.
Available from 24th May 2019!
