This summer, we are introducing a new Summer Bus, which connects guests from campsites in Lesce with Bled and Radovljica. The bus can also be used by other guests and locals.
Throughout July and August, a free bus, which can be used by visitors and locals, will run between Radovljica and Bled and back to Radovljica. The bus will make five journeys per day in each direction, stopping along the way at the Šobec Camp, River Camping Bled, Lesce railway station and the Union Bled bus stop. The bus provides simple and quick access to the main tourist attractions, without the headache of looking for parking spaces. By introducing the Summer Bus, the Radovljica Tourist Board, in collaboration with the Bled Tourist Board, is encouraging the use of public transport, reducing congestion of the road between Radovljica and Bled and the occupancy of car parks in Radovljica, whilst also contributing to more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.
In addition to the Summer Bus, during the period of Guided Summer Visits (1.7–20.9), shuttle transport for guided tours of Kropa and Kamen Castle in Begunje na Gorenjskem will also be available from the Šobec Camp. The shuttle will be free for holders of a Julian Alps benefit card. The timetable of guided tours has been scheduled so that those travelling by public bus can also take part.
Between 1st July and 20th September you can join guided visits, which are organised by the Radovljica and Begunje tourist information centres.
