The Radovljica Fishing Club is organising this international competition with the aim of promoting huchen and protecting it from water pollution and the building of water barriers.
The competition will take place from 7th – 10th February 2019.
Competition timetable:
- 7.2.2109: gathering of anglers at Gostilna Mlin in Kamna Gorica where, over a group dinner, the sectors for fishing will be allocated
- 8.2.2019: Full-day of fishing and symposium on the protection of huchen and water in Slovenia
- 9.2.2019: Full-day of fishing and at 12noon a group protest on the Fuxova brv footbridge to raise awareness about the protection of water; group dinner
- 10.2.2019: Fishing until 11am; at 12noon a group protest on the bridge of the Sava River at Posavec to raise awareness about the protection of water; event at the Houston Resort Motel in Posavec to mark the end of the group fish
Advance registration is mandatory by email to: radovljica.rd@gmail.com and a registration fee is payable for participation.
Registration fee, which includes a fishing permit and dinner:
- Members of Radovljica Fishin Club: €75.00
- Non-members: €150.00
Registrations are accepted up to Wednesday 30.1.2019
