After the St. Nicholas celebrations at the start of December, the festive season will kick into high gear from 19th December with arts&crafts fairs and street performances.

There is a diverse range of gifts available in Radol'ca. The majority are available in the Radovljica Tourist Information Centre and in the shops in the old town centre, so in this blog, we decided to focus mainly on food-related gifts.

Though, in truth, I will never be a lover of winter and snow, since moving to Slovenia in 2007 I have learnt that in winter in the area where I live – Radovljica, in the northwest i.e. the alpine area - snow is a fact of life and, to some extent, have learnt to embrace it!
