The branched network of local roads offer a wide range of possible cycle tours in the surroundings of Radovljica.


Using the map of local cycleways and the network of signposts, it's easy to plan a cycle trip to suit your ability. Shorter and less demanding circular cycling tours can take in the areas of Radovljica, Brezje, Begunje, Žirovnica and Bled.


Those with more stamina and seeking more demanding rides can cycle along panoramic roads or on alpine pastures.


Some ideas for longer bike tours:

  • through the Lipnica valley, up to Jamnik, and then onwards towards Škofja Loka and Kranj
  • to Žirovnica and onwards towards Jesenice, via Kočna to Gorje and to Bled
  • up to the Pokljuka plateau and down to Bohinj
  • from Begunje along the panoramic road beneath Dobrča to Tržiška Bistrica and onwards via Golnik towards Kranj
