Five food and drink establishments from Radovljica and its surroundings have been included in the international Gault&Millau guide.
For the first time the reputable Gault&Millau culinary guide has published an independent edition dedicated to Slovenia's restaurant scene. During the course of preparation for the guide, which was published a few days ago, the judging commission carried out 130 unannounced visits to food and drink establishments in Slovenia.
In the area of Radol'ca, the judging commission was most impressed by the range of cuisine on offer at Vila Podvin, which received three chefs hats, equivalent to 16 points, out of a total 20. Gostilna Kunstelj and Gostilna Pr' Kovač both received 12.5 points, whilst Gostilna Lectar was awarded 12 points. In addition, the Sodček Wine Bar was included in the category of 'special experiences'. This achievement once again proves that the destination of Radol'ca rightly belongs at the top of Slovenia's culinary scene.
In addition to the printed version of the guide, the Gault&Millau website now includes details of the providers of Slovenia's best culinary experiences.
