Chateau Lambergh

Chateau Lambergh

Drink coffee in a calm ambience, savour top-quality cuisine or enjoy pampering for two in the manor's spacious rooms.

Lambergh Manor stands among expansive fields and forest between the villages of Zgoša and Dvorska vas and, together with a park, is part of the Chateau Lambergh hotel complex. The chateau is surrounded by a beautiful park, dating from the first half of the 20th century, with a pond and pavilion -an excellent place for special events.

Although the manor is part of the hotel complex, its exterior and the park are open to the public, who are also able to enjoy a meal in the hotel's restaurant with a view of the manor. Luxury accommodation is available in the manor.

A LOOK INTO THE PAST

The manor is one of the first examples of a Renaissance chateau in Slovenia. It was first mentioned in the 13th century. The noble Lamberghs renovated it in the 16th century, giving it the appearance of a symmetric Renaissance building.

In the 19th century the manor had several local owners, and at one point it was also a cloth factory. In the second half of the 20th century the Tone Čufar climatic spa was established in the manor, and in the 21st century the hotel became a modern boutique hotel complex.
