Honey Tasting and a Visit to a Beekeeper

Radovljica is a land of beekeepers and the capital of Slovenian beekeeping. The tradition of beekeeping is passed here from generation to generation. The Radovljica countryside has long been home to numerous beekeepers, who are delighted to open the doors of their apiaries and share the love of bees and bee products with visitors. Every drop of honey has its own story, which you can taste alongside interesting tales.

A tour of an apiary and honey tasting can also be arranged at the Beekeeping Education Centre of Gorenjska in Lesce, where there is a shop and café selling honey products.
