Between 1 and 24 July, the Radovljica Manor will host traditional educational music workshops and classical music concerts.
La Casa de Kamna in cooperation with the Municipality of Radovljica, Radovljica Tourism and Culture and the Radovljica Music School has put together a varied schedule of summer concerts.
Between 1 and 24 July, participants will be taught by as many as six leading music teachers from around the world.
Luigi Tanganelli, Siavush Gadjiev, Daniel Rivera, Teresa Trevisan and Flavio Zaccaria will share their knowledge of the piano, while Vasily Meljnikov and Leonid Sorokow will be hosting violin workshops.
The master classes are aimed at music students, professional musicians and talented young people who would like to improve their technical, musical and artistic skills. They are also intended for those who are preparing for concerts, auditions or competitions. All master classes are open to active and passive participants. A closing concert takes place at the end of the workshops.
This year five concerts will take place, four of which will feature participants of the workshops/masterclasses:
4.7 at 7pm: Piano concert performed by participants of the workshop run by professor L. Tanganelli – Hall of Radovljica Music School
9.7 at 6pm: Piano and violin concert performed by participants of the workshop run by professors S. Gadjiev and V. Meljnikov – Hall of Radovljica Music School
16.7 at 6pm: Violin concert performed by participants of the workshop run by D. Rivera, T. Trevisan and F. Zaccaria – Hall of Radovljica Music School
23.7 at 7pm: Piano concert performed by participants of the workshop run by professor Sorokow, Hall of Radovljica Music School
The main concert will be held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzola:
11.7 at 8pm: Piano concert by Daniel Rivera (Argentina-Italy), Friuli Venezia Giulia String Orchestra, conducter Romolo Gessi (Italy)
Concert programme: F. Chopin, Concerto for piano and orchestra in F minor No. 2 op.21, in original form for the Piazzola piano and string orchestra Piazzola
The concert will be broadcast by loudspeaker in the square.
