The Beekeeping Education Centre in Lesce offers guided tours of the centre, including the chance to taste Slovenian honey, every Wednesday from May to September at:
- 10.30am
- 1pm
- 3.30pm
The team at the Beekeeping Education Centre will guide you around the modernly equipped centre, where you can see the beeswax foundation roller and honey bottling machinery, the centre's painted beehive and garden with plants for bees. Tours end with a tasting of Slovenian honey in the well-stocked Bee Shop.
Price of guided tour and honey tasting: €4 per person
Guided tours are available in Slovenian and English.
